Navigating a Tense Political Season Webinar Recording

Back to All News + Events

On Thursday, August 22, Ward Church hosted a webinar as part of our Thoughtful Theology Lunch & Learn series on the topic of Navigating a Tense Political Season.

In this webinar, Pastor Terence Gray discussed how Christians can navigate the current tense political climate with wisdom and grace, emphasizing the importance of avoiding quarrels and infighting within the church. He encouraged creating “demilitarized zones”—safe spaces where political discussions are set aside to prioritize relationships and unity.

Pastor Terence outlined a biblical framework for forming personal convictions while respecting differing views, promoting civility and empathy in conversations. He reminds us that true justification comes from Christ alone, urging the church to be a place of peace and unity.
