Women's Groups

WOMEN's GROUP MINISTRIES

Our strong desire is to provide opportunities for women to grow spiritually, enjoy fellowship with one another, and be all that God created us to be. We want women to be encouraged by meeting new friends and enriched by studying and applying God’s Word to their lives.

Ways to Get Involved

More Opportunities

Northville Campus

Ladies' Exercise

Meets Mondays & Thursdays
9:30-10:30 a.m.
Chapel Suite 1 + 2

Come join us as we get up and get moving! We are a lively group of women of all ages and stages of life, exercising our body, mind and spirit as we “Walk Away the Pounds”. Women of all ages and fitness levels are welcome and encouraged to participate in this simple, low-impact walking program. Wear comfortable clothing, and good athletic shoes. Men are also welcome to participate.

Quilting Hands

Meets the second Tuesday of every month
September-June from 5-8 p.m.
Chapel Suite 1

Other scheduled activities throughout the year. If you like to sew (beginner or experienced), participate in community projects, enjoy field trips and fellowship with a group of caring ladies, you are invited to join us on the second Tuesday of each month from 5-8 p.m. in the Chapel Suite 1. Our mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ through fellowship and ministering to other quilters, serve others by providing quilt projects for outreach mission initiatives through Ward and learn quilting techniques to enhance our knowledge and skills.

Professional Women's Mentor Group

Meets the third Thursday of each month
7-8:30 p.m.
Conference Center Breakout Room A

In this day and age, it can be hard to find like-minded people, who are facing some of the same challenges we are, especially as professional women! If you are a working woman (working for an employer, self-employed, etc.) we invite you to join a group of Christian women, who want to learn from each other and grow in their careers!

Stich and Chat

Meets the second Thursday of every month
10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Chapel Suite 3

If you like to sew or craft (beginner or experienced), and wish to connect with a group of like-minded ladies helping the community, you are invited! We help put together donations for patients and the homeless in our communities. Enjoy a great time of connection and learning to enhance your knowledge and skills. We usually have lunch together as well.
