Operation Christmas Child Mission Trip

Mission Trip Dates: December 4th to December 8th, 2023

Trip Cost: $302 per person plus most meals – $544 for single occupancy

This trip is to help Operation Christmas Child fulfill their mission to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy and hurting children around the world and to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the children through the simple shoe box gifts. In addition, God will touch the hearts of parents and the people of the villages where the shoe boxes are delivered.

Our work will be done at the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center in Aurora IL just outside of Chicago. Every shoebox that has been filled has to be inspected and prepared for overseas shipment and this is the primary job we will have, but the most important job is praying over them. You will have the opportunity to see God at work through Operation Christmas Child and you will be able to help ensure that the children that receive the shoeboxes, will receive one that has been carefully inspected and filled with love and prayers.

Trip Information:

We will have 2 important meetings on November 11th and November 19th so that we can get to know one another, discuss details of the trip and answer any questions. Travel will be done by car. We will be working at the processing center on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, from 1-5 p.m., Wednesday from 10-2 p.m. and Friday from 9-1 p.m. Every day we will have morning devotions together. The cost includes admission to the Lightscapes show on Wednesday evening.

The team is limited to 12. Spots will be filled as the applications and the $100 deposits are received.

Applications need to be turned in no later than November 4th.
