Your faith journey
Walking with Bible

Where are you in your faith journey?

God created each of us unique. There is no manual for the perfect way to grow your faith. No one-size-fits-all. But there are things we can each do to move forward in our journey with God and others. Only you and God know your heart and where to go next.

What does a thriving faith look like?
At Ward we believe someone thriving in their faith can say the following:
  • I am applying the lessons God is teaching me through the Scriptures.
  • I am generous with my money, abilities, and time within and beyond the church.
  • I make intentional investments in the health of my own family and look for opportunities to support the next generation.
  • I cross barriers (racial, cultural, social, economic, etc.) to bless people near and far.
  • I welcome people in my church and home.
How do you get there? Start with some next steps below.

Thriving

My faith is integrated into every part of my life and isn't tied to my circumstances.

Practical Steps for Growth Within a Community

Practical Steps for Growth Personally

  • Practice living out the fruit of the Spirit: joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control where you work, in school, with friends, etc.

  • Seek out those who are resistant to Christianity and lead with love
