At Ward Church, we believe that God’s Word reveals the Christ who transforms our lives from the inside out. This season, as our church-wide family journeys through Colossians in our Walk This Way series, we are fixing our eyes on Jesus and learning what it means to walk in Him.
In Community Bible Class (CBC), we’ll go deeper with a study of Hebrews: Jesus Is Better. This rich and challenging book calls us to persevere in faith by holding fast to Christ above all else. Hebrews reminds us again and again that Jesus is better—better than the law, better than religious systems, and better than anything or anyone else we might rely on for righteousness, security, or identity.
Together, both Colossians and Hebrews will invite us into grace-paced living marked by confidence, endurance, and hope as we learn to walk faithfully with our all-sufficient Savior. No matter your stage of life or level of Bible study experience, we trust you’ll be challenged and encouraged on your journey.

🌱 Why This Study Matters:
This is more than just another Bible study. The Genesis class is part of a long-term vision to build up biblically grounded leaders, strengthen families, and deepen our discipleship culture. For some, it will be a next step after Loving Like Jesus: A 40 Day Journey. For others, it may be the most approachable way to reengage or dive deeper into Scripture. Together, these initiatives are not competing—but complementary—each working to help us become a more loving, grounded, and spiritually healthy church family.
