Forgotten Harvest delivers 138,000 pounds of surplus food per day, to local charities six days a week, providing families in need with fresh and nutritious food free of charge. Ward is grateful to partner with Forgotten Harvest as a distribution site this fall. We are looking for people like you to help us serve these families in need.
The Outreach Team would love to begin partnering with any small groups who want to work together to make a difference in Detroit! If your small group wishes to explore any hands-on service projects or other opportunities to serve one of our Detroit-based mission partners.

The Disaster Relief Team responds to disasters around the country, working hand in hand with Samaritans Purse. Ward volunteers are deployed to cities where homes are ravaged and people are hurting. They provide practical help through tarping roofs, removing trees and debris and more.
We are collecting for Season of Giving again! Each year we give to three of our local partners so they may bless families and children during the Christmas season.
Our neighbors in Midland are facing an incredible challenge as they try to rebuild their community after widespread flooding due to multiple dam failures. Teams of people will be partnering with Samaritan’s Purse to help with a variety of clean up, construction, and renovation projects.

Speakers include Jeff McKinley, Executive Director and Alex Miller, Field Operations Director of Not Abandoned, an organization whose mission is to intervene in the sex industry and provide practical options and accessible programming to victims and families.
Volunteers are needed to greet donors, process and pray over Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, prepare and pack freight, and load trucks from Nov. 17-25 at Ward Church.
