Forgotten Harvest – every Monday at 9 a.m.

Ward is grateful to partner with Forgotten Harvest that delivers 138,000 pounds of surplus food per day, to local charities six days a week, providing families in need with fresh and nutritious food free of charge. Our Forgotten Harvest team of volunteers meets every Monday morning at 9am to distribute food to the community. We average about 150 families every week. In 2021, we received 500,735 pounds of food valued at $896,316. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

If you are in need of food, or know someone who is, you can pick up a box no questions asked. All families in need or those who would like to pick up food to deliver to those they know are welcomed to do so every Monday, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. (or until the food runs out) at Entry 2.

We are also looking for people like you to help us serve these families in need. Each Monday, we are looking for a team that will help sort, pack, and serve families as they come through to pick up their food. The event currently happens every Monday (except holidays). Volunteers will need to arrive at 9:00 a.m. outside of Entry 2. Food distribution is from 9-10 a.m. (or until the food runs out).
