Ward Church offers an array of activities, serving opportunities and fun amenities that encourage you to get out the door and move while on mission!
Simple Serve, July 15 + August 19
Make a difference in Detroit this summer! You’ll be pulling weeds, clearing brush, gardening, demo, and other construction-related work. All of this PLUS lunch in only three hours! Father + Son Canoe Trip, August 18-20
Experience a time away from civilization, hearty meals cooked outdoors, a peaceful (or maybe not!) ride down the Muskegon River, incredible scenery, hanging around a campfire, endless fellowship, and much more…all in one weekend at this year’s Father + Son Canoe Weekend. Preschool Playdate, July 19 + August 23
Parents and preschoolers! Join us for a fun morning of play, outdoor activities, snack, and our outdoor playground will be open. Connect with other parents from the area and enjoy watching your kids play. Activity will be geared for preschool children and families. Some activities may include water. No need to register.
4th and 5th Grade Game Night, July 26 + August 23
We invite all 4th and 5th grade kids to come on out, meet friends and have fun with interactive games and activities! Kick off the night hanging out with friends and playing games. Later, we will dive into God’s word for a short devotional time. It’s guaranteed to be a great night of fellowship with friends and WardKids leaders. Learn more + register!
Ward Woods trails, year-round
Did you know that Ward Church has a system of trails located directly behind the ball fields? These trails even connect to Northville’s Legacy Park, for even more hiking and mountain-biking options! This summer, Ward Church will be constructing a new trailhead into the woods with the help of a local Eagle Scout. Stay tuned on how you can help serve!
Pickle ball, Men’s Basketball, and Ladies’ exercise, year-round
In the summer, and throughout the year, Ward Church offers three different weekly activity options for those who want to stay fit all year! Check them out!
- Pickle ball – Thursdays, 6-8 p.m., Knox Hall
- Men’s Basketball – Mondays, 7-9 p.m., Knox Hall
- Ladies’ Exercise – Mondays + Thursdays, 9:30-10:45 a.m., Chapel Suites 1 + 2
