RUN + WALK FOR CLEAN WATER!
Be the hands and feet of Jesus locally and have a global impact! Women and children are still walking for water and over 200 children are still dying every day from contaminated water, poor sanitation and improper hygiene. Team World Vision partners with the Detroit Marathon + Half Marathon to raise money to ensure that everyone around the world can begin gaining access to clean drinking water. Will you be a part of this global movement?
Ward is partnering with Team World Vision for it’s 11th year! Team World Vision helps provide life-changing clean water to children and communities in developing countries. You can join this global mission by supporting or joining our team. We will be participating in the Detroit Free Press Marathon & Half Marathon on Sunday October 20, 2024. Training starts June 2. You can walk or run the event.
World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. If you’ve never run before but care about this mission, you can do this! TWV provides a practical training program, group runs and more avenues of support.
