All new guests are encouraged to use our boulevard entrance on Six Mile Road, just west of Haggerty & Cross Roads, and to enter our facility using Entry 1, 2 or 3.
Frequently Asked Questions
The clothes you’ll see at Ward on a Sunday are reflective of our community, representing a cross-section of preferred lifestyles. You’ll likely see as many people in polos, khakis, t-shirts and jeans as you will in suits, ties and dresses – so dress the way you feel comfortable.
If you are a first time guest, we have some spots reserved just for you in our circle drive drop-off at Entry 1. If those are full, proceed clockwise around our inner ring road to park in Lot 2 or 3.
There are handicap spots located inside the circle drive at Entry 1, as well as various spots close to the ring road. If you have a severe mobility disability, we also have a shuttle service located at Entry 5. A team of dedicated volunteers guide you to your parking spot, pick you up directly at your vehicle on a golf cart, and shuttle you into the church and to your destination within the building.
We encourage all our guests to enter the building using Entry 1, 2, or 3 as these will funnel you directly towards our main welcome desk. There, we have our friendly guest services team ready to answer any additional questions you may have. We would love to connect with you and give you a gift card to our gourmet coffee shop, RēNū.
Generally we recommend showing up about 5-10 minutes early to give yourself enough time to park, walk-in and get situated in your seat. However, if you have children to drop-off at our nursery, preschool + k, and/or elementary wings, we recommend 15-25 minutes to get them properly checked-in.
