Pray for our missionary: Jean Legters

Meet Jean

Jean and her late husband Dave have been supported by Ward Church for over 50 years. She currently lives in Merida, Mexico, located in the Yucatan peninsula. She teaches piano at the San Pablo Seminary, which was established by her husband. As she is the only teacher living on campus, she is house mother and counselor to the students. She visits four different remote village congregations. She takes her keyboard to accompany the service and brings a lay minister with her, to preach. She hands out Bibles, hymnbooks, and other Christian literature to each village for pastors and church leaders who have no access to a Christian bookstore. Jean also plays piano at her own 135-year-old church!
