Grief is a universal life experience that we all share. However, the way in which we experience it is unique to each person and each relationship lost. From husbands, wives, and children to parents, grandparents, siblings and friends – loss affects everyone.
Free grief support groups are made available through our partnership with New Hope Center for Grief Support. Due to COVID-19, these support groups are continuing to meet through conference calls and include new offerings for first responders and those who have been impacted by the pandemic. We are here for you during these challenging times.
New Hope is also offering the following two new online support groups over telecommunication and video conferencing:
- Frontline Workers Pandemic Group: all healthcare, grocery workers, first responders, etc.
Tuesdays at 12:00 PM
- Loss of Family or Friend Pandemic Group: Support for those who have lost a family member or friend
Wednesdays at 6:00 pm
- Weathering the Storm: for teens who have experienced the death of a loved one Thursdays at 4pm
If you are interested in joining any of these groups please call our office at 248.348.0115.
