A Christmas Festival is for all ages, from young to young-at-heart! At 10:30 a.m., you will have a choice between a contemporary worship service (10:30 a.m.) or an FX show designed for parents and kids (kindergarten through grade 5). The variety of activities planned for the day makes room for fun for all ages.

Every weekend we see a wide range of attire, so dress as you feel comfortable! Keep in mind there will be family portrait opportunities and outdoor activities (petting zoo, horse-drawn carriage rides).

If you are new to Ward, please enter our campus using the main boulevard entrance on Six Mile Road, just west of Haggerty and Cross Roads.

Please note that there will be no vehicle drop-off available at Entry 1 or Entry 2 all day. These areas will be used for the Carriage Rides. If you need to drop someone off near the Chapel, please use the Entry 3 drop-off.

There WILL be:

• Our regular 9 a.m. traditional + 10:30 a.m. contemporary services in the Sanctuary

• FX: A Family Experience will happen at 10:30 a.m. in Knox Hall

• Our nursery and preschool programming for ages infant to four will be available

There will NOT be:

• Sunday Morning Groups for Adults

• Sunday Middle School programming

• Potter’s Wheel special needs ministry

• Children’s programming for kindergarten and up

FX: A Family Experience is geared toward children kindergarten through fifth grade with a parent or guardian. However, all are welcome to attend and you’ll often see a wide range of ages in attendance for this fun and interactive production.
