Connect with Us
We go to places where Jesus communities do not yet exist. We speak and serve in culturally relevant ways. We put love in action and we do it to reach people with the good news of Jesus.
Ward supports over 60 missionaries and other global partner organizations. Information about our partners is available at our Missions Wall just inside Entry 1, or on our beta Ward Serves the Nations website.
Looking for mission trip giving? Head on over to our myWARD portal.
Each year, Ward takes a number of short-term ministry trips to support our global partners and other strategic ministries.
This team of adults will be partnering with churches in the Beirut area as they staff medical/dental clinics among Syrian refugees. While providing medical/dental care, our team will also be working with emerging church plants in the area bringing the gospel to the refugee communities. The team will consist of medical and dental professionals as well as a few others with skills and abilities to support them in this mission.
Our goal for this trip to southern Spain is to take a holistic approach to ministering to the needs of Christians of various backgrounds from around the world. Some of the people we will meet have made significant sacrifices to follow Christ. Our focus will be to connect with and serve them as they grow in their faith. Each day we will pray together and follow the Lord’s lead as we tend to the mind, body, and spirit of those we will serve.
Medical and non-medical team members in excellent health, able to cope with extreme temperatures/humidity and arduous travel, will conduct medical clinics in villages under the direction of Rev. Jean Pierre Dabou. French-speakers, medical personnel, and people who have not been part of previous Mali Medical Teams are especially encouraged to apply.
We will be taking a mission trip to Puerto Rico to serve an EPC Church whose community was hit by Hurricane Irma from July 21-27. We will be focused on relief work like clean up, demolition, & possibly rebuilding.
Applications must be completed by February 4. Priority will be given to those who apply early. After completing your application, you will be contacted to schedule an interview with the trip leader. The first team meeting will be on February 11.
The team will lead a program for children age 5-7 from Noon to 3 p.m. during the week of July 23-26 at Military Ave. Church in Detroit. They will work with the children in small groups, reinforcing and reviewing the Bible teaching, teach Bible verses, and accompany the small groups to various activities. Transportation will be provided. There will be training sessions for trip participants held at Ward on Mondays, June 25 & July 16 at 6:30 p.m. in Conference Center Breakout Rooms A + B.
Is God calling you to step out of your comfort zone? We are looking for humble and teachable adults to venture to Malaysia to pray for breakthroughs in the gospel. We will engage the culture by visiting cultural sights; walking through various areas praying prayers of worship, spiritual warfare, and blessing; interacting with Malay through conversations and meals and learning from and encouraging believers there. Required team training meetings will prepare you before the trip.
We’ll be working with our partners in India to serve in our Open Doors sponsored school in Gaya and a school in Ara where we helped build classrooms. We’ll be able to interact with our Ward sponsored students through tutoring & kids activities. We’ll also be able to connect with our partners in Patna and their work.
