Caring for a loved one with a mentally degenerative disease like dementia is extremely difficult and exhausting. We want you to know that you are not alone, and that we have resources to equip you on your long journey ahead. Come get support, practical and relevant information, and find a place where others are going on a very similar journey as you. This is more of a workshop setting to equip you on your journey. Ward Church hosts a Caregiver Support Group through Alzheimer's Association.
This is a hybrid group you can attend in-person if you are able to get out or via Zoom. We understand how difficult it is to find help and we are offering an online option so you can still be close to your loved one if needed. This four-week pilot class will be led by a Ward member, Gary Becker, who has been on this journey himself for many years. His experience and expertise will help equip you for the coming seasons. And the support of others going through a similar experience will come around you and hopefully create a loving community.
Please register ahead of time so we know who to expect and to send you the zoom link.
The workshop is for anyone caring for a loved one with a mentally degenerative disease like dementia.
