A Season of Rest and Renewal for Pastor Terence

As Ward Church continues into a new season of ministry, Session has announced that Pastor Terence will take a sabbatical from October 1 through December 1.

Over the past year, Ward has experienced significant change and transition while also looking ahead with renewed hope. Through those challenges, Pastor Terence has faithfully served the congregation, helping lead ministries, support the church through seasons of discernment, and care for the church family.

In recognition of his leadership and commitment, Session has approved a two-month sabbatical to provide time for rest, spiritual renewal, and focused progress on his doctoral studies. Church leaders view this sabbatical as an investment in Pastor Terence, his family, his well-being, and his continued ministry at Ward.

Sabbaticals are designed to create space for reflection, restoration, and growth. After carrying significant responsibilities during an important season in the life of the church, this time away will allow Pastor Terence to step back from regular ministry duties and return refreshed for the next chapter of ministry.
