Worship will include live music and teaching. The Farmington Hills campus will join the teaching time via simulcast from Northville. You may hear familiar Christmas hymns mixed with newer worship songs expressed through congregational singing, piano, guitar and vocalists. Many different faith traditions enjoy Ward’s services as a time of unity and inspiration.
Northville: Childcare is provided for ages 4 and under in the Nursery.
Farmington Hills: Families are invited to worship together. A 'family room' with a live video feed is available as an alternative since childcare will not be provided.
Come dressed comfortably. Around Christmastime, you may see more suits and dresses than a Sunday at a different time of year. But still, some wear jeans and tennis shoes. We are more concerned that you come as you are rather than if you look your “Sunday Best.”
Northville: Ward Church is a barrier-free facility, compliant with state and local codes for accessibility. We provide shuttle services at Entry 5 for those who need assistance getting to our Sanctuary. Just pull up into a parking space directly outside of Entry 5 and a shuttle will be standing by. We will pull around and help you on to the shuttle. When leaving, stand outside the Sanctuary and a shuttle service will be by to help pick you up and take you directly to your vehicle.
All other guests are free to park anywhere. Entry 6 provides closest access to the Sanctuary. Please note, the Nursery is on the opposite end of the facility, so those wishing to utilize childcare may wish to use our main entrance, Entry 1.
Farmington Hills: Our Farmington Hills campus is more intimate and offers ample parking close to the main entrance.
At Northville, ReNu Coffee will be open. Please note that our Playscape will be closed.
No other groups or classes will be meeting on this day at either campus.
We often are led to believe that questions about faith are off limits, and yet the Bible is full of questions. The questions of the Bible are our questions: “How long, O Lord?” “Why have you forsaken me?” The Christmas story should raise a lot of questions. Think about it: Christmas is a celebration of the God who made all things becoming human, born to an unmarried couple, and dwelling among us. Christmas is the wonderful story of Jesus, the Son of God, who is “God with us.” Like the original cast of Christmas you might be thinking, “I’ve got questions!”
Our Sunday morning worship services on Sunday, December 29 will be online-only. We have a special morning led by our Family Ministry Team planned. We hope you and your family will join us in worship!
