2019 Annual Meeting of the Congregation

Celebration Sunday: On June 9, we’ll enjoy our End-of-Year Celebration Sunday. Our new program year begins July 1. In each worship service, we will reflect and give thanks for all that God has done in and through our church this past year and will anticipate His work in the coming year. These special worship services will include stories of faith, prayers of thanksgiving, and a sermon of hope for the new program year. Worship services meet at their regular times: 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. At 9:30 and 11:00 a.m., the Classic Service and the Modern Service will worship together in the Sanctuary. The Annual Congregational Meeting will coincide with the Sunday celebration, with most official business scheduled between 12 and 12:30 p.m.

Official Call of Meeting: Session has called the Annual Congregational Meeting for Sunday, June 9, 9:30 a.m. (anticipated end is 12:30 p.m.). In addition to celebrating the goodness of God through stories, reports and worship, members of the congregation will be asked to approve the upcoming year’s program budget and the pastor’s terms of call for next year. The Nominations Committee will present their official report for elders, trustees, deacons and nominating committee.

Town Hall: A “Town Hall” meeting will be held Wednesday, June 5, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The annual budget will be presented and discussed. An update from our Land Use team will be given. Highlights from the year will be celebrated, and prayers for a new year will be offered.

Annual Report

Our Annual Report for 2019 is now available. It contains statements of faith and biographies for the slate of candidates for Elders, Deacons, Trustees, and Nominating Committee as well as the meeting agenda, prior meeting minutes, membership and attendance reports and fiscal year information.
