About Mops

MOPS is for any mom with children ages birth-5 years who is looking to connect with other moms in a similar phase of life. MOPS encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church. Whether you are a soon-to-be mom, first-time mom or seventh-time mom, an adoptive mom, young mom, seasoned mom, foster mom, stepmom or any other type of mom, you are welcome here! For more information on MOPS International go to their website at www.mops.org.

This 2022/23 year, we will meet every first and third Thursdays 9:30-11:30 a.m. starting September 15 through May in Chapel Suite 3. Please connect with our Ward MOPS Facebook page for upcoming events. If you would like to be added to our contact list, please email us at wardmops@gmail.com.

MOPS Bible Study

If you are unable to attend MOPS in the mornings, we have an option for you! Join us for our Bible Studies, starting September 22 from 7-8:30 p.m. in Chapel Suite 3. We will meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings. No registration required, just email Susan Walthall at swalthallmops@gmail.com. This is a 12 week study based on the book, Idols of a Mother’s Heart by Christina Fox. We will explore the role of idols in our lives, which idols we are most prone to use by moms, and why they don’t work. We will also spend time in discussion about how to overcome them.
