Ward Church hosts a MOPS group. For more information on MOPS International go to their website at www.mops.org

MOPS is for any mom with children ages birth to kindergarten looking to connect with other moms in a similar phase of life.

MOPS meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, September through May from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in Chapel Suite 3. Registration is required.

At a MOPS meeting you will find:

  • A chance to be with other moms who share similar circumstances.
  • A place of encouragement, where motherhood is valued and women are special, no matter what their status, education, or personal issues.
  • The opportunity to build friendships with MOPS Mentors.
  • Speakers- provide practical instruction on things that matter most to moms such as parenting, marriage and healthy meal planning.
  • The opportunity to express creativity through crafts and life-skills.
  • Childcare- kiddos are cared for in a preschool-like setting called MOPPETS so moms can relax and enjoy a grown up meeting!
  • Discussion groups in an open, caring atmosphere where moms are free to share their ideas and feelings with each other.
  • Leadership training and development.

Ward offers a MOPPETS program during MOPS meetings for a fee. Registration is necessary to ensure that space is reserved for your child/children in the MOPPETS program.  All caregivers have been carefully screened, including background and reference checks, and are approved by Ward to care for minors during church-related activities.

Registration for our 2017-18 season is still open. However, MOPS childcare is currently limited. To register and to see if childcare is available for your child(ren), or if you have questions, email MOPS coordinators Darcie & Kristen at wardmops@gmail.com.
