Labor Day Weekend Sermon
Rev. Terence Gray
When outward productivity is prioritized over inward fruitfulness, the end result is an empty soul
  • You are more than what you can produce.
  • You are more than what you do.
  • You are more than the sum of your good days and bad days.
John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. What is fruit? Fruit is something that you can see that is an indicator of life within. Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. God doesn’t need our hands, as much as he wants our hearts. God wants you to live a fruitful life, He wants your life to bear fruit. John 15:16 NIV “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” How do we participate in God’s plan for us to live a fruitful life? Faking and Forcing the Fruit God is overseeing the pace and volume of your growth
