Ward Church General 4 weeks ago

Join us as we get back to travel with others in the Ward Church community.

An exciting adventure to Scotland and Ireland this summer is in the works! Interested? Join us at the information meeting Wednesday, January 18, 5:30 p.m. at Ward!

This coming August 6-18, 2023, the Ward Travel club is hosting a trip to Scotland and Ireland. Details and itinerary can be found on our personalized page from Collette Travel. Pastor Scott and Angie McKee are leading a multi-generational group on a visit through the northern parts of the British Isles. This week has been specifically chosen because travelers will have the opportunity to be in Edinburgh at a very lively time-the famous Fringe Arts festival takes place in August, when the streets are filled with talented acts and street performers from all over the world. It is also the time of the famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo, which is a musical celebration featuring the bands of the armed forces from the global community. A very unique and interesting time to visit Scotland’s capital city! Of course, the visit to Edinburgh is a small part of the tour, which will explore not only the city, but also the countryside and highlands of Scotland and Ireland too! History, culture, shopping and famous brewing factory visits are included. Read about the other highlights in the online brochure.

Currently, travelers of all ages, from 17-79, are registered-and each decade is represented! There are only 14 spots left on this trip, so please consider signing up today.

An informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 18 at 5:30 p.m. at Ward Church, Northville Campus. However, it is advisable to register today; don’t delay! Spots have been filling steadily! The informational meeting will be cancelled if the trip sells out beforehand.

Looking forward to traveling with our Ward family!
