AM Online Community Bible Class
Studying the Book of Joshua

Teacher: Pam Dodge
This is a large group Zoom teaching that examines the text verse by verse is followed by small group Zoom time to challenge, support, and encourage one another.
Joshua reads like an exciting novel with its battles and spies, a miraculous river crossing, walls falling down, and the sun stopping in the sky. It is the powerful story of God taking his people into the land He promised Abraham 450 years earlier. As we study together you will find encouragement to persevere in your own daily battles and be challenged to trust in God who is more powerful than whatever you may encounter. This Bible study is open to everyone, no matter where you are in your spiritual journey or stage of life. It is designed to help you grow in your relationship with God and give you practical, biblical perspectives on life, family, and work.
Cost: $4 for Bible study materials

Tuesday PM Groups for Women – Women’s DVD Studies
“We Over Me: Letters of Hope from Revelation, by Whitney Capps
February 2-March 23, 7-8:30 p.m. in Chapel Suite 3 (Use Ward Church Entry 3 for easy access.)
Leader: Charlotte Steffen
We are excited to be able to offer this in-person Tuesday evening study group once again for those women unable to join one of our AM studies. This term we will be be offering the following studies:
It’s easy to get frustrated with the local church—we see the people in the pews up close, both their beauty and blemishes. But God has a purpose and a plan that He uniquely accomplishes in and through the church, and He wants you to be a part of it. In the opening 3 chapters of Revelation, we find a wake-up call directed toward 7 churches and discover the truth of God’s desire for the church.
This study will challenge you to change your perspective of the modern church and embrace your part in helping the church fulfill its calling.
COMING IN SPRING: “Gideon”, a 7-session Study by best-selling Author Priscilla Shirer
March 16-April 27, 7-8:30 p.m. in Chapel Suite 3 (Use Ward Church Entry 3 for easy access.)
When we hear the name Gideon, most of us think about his 300 soldiers or a fleece spread beneath the evening sky. But Gideon’s story is so much bigger than that. This is a story about God and His people—His love for them, as well as His strength operating in spite of, even through, their weakness.
This study will encourage you to recognize your weakness as the key that the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, learn to see them as the gifts given specifically and strategically by God. If you’ve ever felt insufficient, ill-equipped, incompetent, or outnumbered, this study is for you.
Stay tuned for more information.
