One of Ward Church’s core values is “Thoughtful Theology.” Together, we love God with our hearts and our minds. We welcome tough questions and avoid simplistic answers. We seek to understand and apply the scriptures to all areas of life (2 Timothy 3:16).

After polling hundreds of Ward members and leaders to understand which theological topics you’d be most interested in exploring, we scheduled three Thoughtful Theology seminars. These seminars give space for learning and discussion the most voted topics.

Our second Thoughtful Theology Seminar is Wednesday, November 6, 2019 (Neuroscience and Spiritual Formation). Dr. Rev. Tyler Groff will lead us through this topic and a question and response time. There will be a gift provided to attendees – a tool that can be used to put spiritual formation into practice.

Please help us know how many to plan for by registering for this event. If you need childcare (ages 0-12), free childcare is available during the registration process.

Please note: If your spouse, or other members of your household, are coming with you, you must fill out and submit separate registration forms in their name(s). If you’re registering your children for childcare, their name(s) only need to be submitted on one of the forms.

The third and final seminar of the program year is Wednesday, March 4, 2020. We’re bringing in Dr. Luke Potter as our guest speaker. He will guide us through the topic Calvinism for Today. Registration coming soon.
