It’s been a big week for global impact.  Our Mali Medical team has been holding clinics in remote villages all week.  Our team of 15 Ward members will typically see 300 patients a day.  An impossible task but by the grace of God!  Our Bahamas Mission team of 13 has been repairing a youth center and running a Bible camp for children.  Both of these teams return home Saturday.

Next week, hundreds of Ward folks will serve in a massive renovation of Detroit’s Cody High School and the surrounding neighborhoods.  Ten thousand volunteers from all over south eastern Michigan will participate.  You can still sign up to volunteer at Life Remodeled.  Read the Links (Newsletter & Subscriptions | Ward Church) for special opportunities for Ward Seniors to serve by praying for the project.

How fitting that these impact events are happening during our August sermon series on the Body of Christ!  This Sunday, I will lead us in an exploration of the Apostle Paul’s favorite metaphor for the church in 1 Corinthians 12.  If you have not done so already, please carve out 15 minutes to complete the online spiritual gift test by going to Spiritual Gifts Test | Ward Church.  Bring your results with you Sunday.

    See you soon!
