Ward Church General 1 year ago

    Thursday, May 7

In these unprecedented days, Americans will unite and pray for the 69th annual observance of the National Day of Prayer.

This year’s theme, “Pray God’s Glory Across the Earth”, is based on Habakkuk 2:14, and reminds us that this promise, “for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” is for us today.

While Ward Church will not be open for communal prayer gathering, we invite you to pray in your home, neighborhood, and surrounding community while observing recommended ‘social distancing’ measures. A digital prayer guide and bookmark are available to download.

We invite you, at Noon on May 7, to step outside your home, or open your window and pray. Pray for your local and state leaders, educators and campuses near your home, businesses, military family or friends, local media people, your church and church staff, and of course your family and the families who are near and dear to you.

In addition to your prayers we invite you to watch The National Day of Prayer National Observance Broadcast, which will take place from 8:00-10:00 pm and will be streamed and posted in many ways including on the the NDP website and seen LIVE on the NDP Facebook page.
