Here at Ward, we think membership is a good thing. We believe that God would have His people who have committed their lives to Him also commit to a local group of believers called the local church. We feel so strongly about this call that we encourage everyone who attends Ward regularly to consider becoming a member.
Just getting to know Ward? The Connection Dessert is the best place to begin. After that, membership at Ward is a two-step process that begins by attending our DNA class and then our membership class.
Step 1: Ward DNA (March 7-21, 2021)
Our 3-week Ward DNA class is offered on Sunday mornings from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Chapel Suite 3 OR online via Zoom. Make your choice when you register at ward.church/membership.
Topics covered include:
- Who is God
- Who are we
- What has Jesus done for you
- Share your story
- Explore your spiritual gifts and your role in God’s kingdom
The Ward DNA class is a pre-requisite to the membership class. If you have taken the DNA class in the past and would like to register for the membership class, please email jessica.siemasz@ward.church.
Step 2: Membership Class (April 24, 2021)
After completing the DNA class, the final step is to attend our Membership class, held on a Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Topics covered include:
- What it means to be Presbyterian
- How Ward is structured
- Membership commitments
We hope you will consider becoming a member of Ward and make a difference together for the cause of Jesus Christ.
