Keenagers is a group of people, 55 and older, who plan local excursions to exciting attractions around Michigan. We welcome you to join us on Thursday, August 25, as we walk back in time with a visit to the renovated Phoenix Mill in Plymouth (15000 Edward N. Hines Dr.) We will be welcomed by a 1922 Model T, made the same year the mill opened.
The mill is one of three former mills in Hines Park built in the 1920s by Henry Ford. Greg Donofrio, our guide, will share how the long-abandoned mill was brought back to life while retaining much of the original look and feel of the time when it was used for the auto industry and during World War II.
Following our tour, we will dine at Rocky’s in Northville. Please arrive at Entry 6 at 9:45 a.m. Cost for the day is $35. Sign up and purchase tickets at the Current Focus Kiosk area in the Main Hallway on Sundays, July 24, July 31 and Aug. 7. This trip is limited to 56 people.
