Keenagers (55+) join us on Thursday, March 26 for a tour of Ste. Anne’s Church, Detroit’s first church. The current church is the oldest parish in both Detroit and Michigan and the second oldest continuously operating in the United States. Built in 1886, the Late-Gothic-Revival style church highlights “Flying Buttress” architecture and elaborate stained glass windows. We will enjoy a delicious luncheon at Giovanni’s Ristorante, one of Detroit’s oldest and favorite dining establishments. The cost for the day is $59. Ticket holders, please arrive at 9:30 a.m. on the day of the trip. Meet in the Sanctuary. Use Entry 6. This trip is limited to 49 people. Sign up February 16, 23, and March 1 at Ward on Sunday mornings between services. Questions? Contact Sally Butler at 248.476.9427 or Liz Mayfield at 734.459.6278.
