Join us on Thursday, September 26, as we travel to Hickory Corners to visit the Gilmore Car Museum, which houses one of Michigan’s largest collections of classic and vintage automobiles and motorcycles. These are on display in historic buildings located on 90 beautifully landscaped acres in rural southwest Michigan. When Donald Gilmore, CEO of Upjohn Pharmaceutical Company, retired, his wife bought him a vintage car so that he would have a hobby. This “hobby” has become one of the top five car museums in the nation. We will enjoy a delicious luncheon at the Kellogg Manor House, the former estate of cereal magnate W.K. Kellogg. Following lunch, we will tour this elegant Tudor Revival mansion, which sits on the highest bluff overlooking Gull Lake. Cost for this trip is $68. This trip is limited to 55 people. Sign up August 11, 18, & 25 at Ward on Sunday mornings between services. Questions? Contact Sally Butler at 248.476.9427 or Liz Mayfield at 734.459.6278.
