July is here and we are excited to announce a family series on Jonah! Each week during Sunday services you can gather around and enjoy church as a family. Adults and kids will be learning about Jonah. It’s a journey through deep fears and anxiety, only trumped by God’s patience, grace and forgiveness. Can’t we all relate?
WardKids has created a custom coloring + activity book (for any and all ages) that goes along with Jonah’s journey each week! You can pick these up at the Outdoor Worship Nights every Wednesday, at 7 pm in the Ward Church parking lot (look for the WardKids table, to the right of the stage). Not able to make it? Download and print at home:
We will continue to send out our regular WardKids Sunday curriculum filled with bible stories, devotionals, and activities on Fridays. This allows you to participate whenever you can as a family. For the month of July, we will continue to focus on Faith in both Elementary and Preschool. If you are currently thinking, whoa…whoa…WardKids, that’s just too much church! We encourage you to do both of these with your families throughout the week. Let me tell you how…
July is going to be a great month for family engagement! My family is making the decision for July, to focus on a short Tuesday night summer bible study using WardKids Sunday material. And on Sunday mornings, we will gather around in pajamas and sip our coffee and milk while doing church together.
The good news is that you can do whatever works best for leading your family. We wanted to let you know about all the awesome ways to learn and grow together as a family this month!
