Tuesday Groups are a time of Bible study, but they are so much more. They’re a place where friendships are formed, life is shared with others, and our hearts are shaped by God’s life-changing truth. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey or stage of life you are always welcomed to join us as we seek to connect the dots between life and faith. Tuesday Study Groups are ALWAYS open to newcomers.

Community Bible Class – Online + In-Person

Where: Chapel or online via Zoom (will participate with in-person attendees virtually via a Zoom TV)

Topic: The Gospel of Matthew: A Portrait of Jesus Teacher: Who is the real Jesus Christ? Opinions range widely about his identity—as well as what he means for our lives today. But few disagree that he forever changed the course of history and civilization. What did the Apostles and early church understand about him? How is he connected to the Old Testament? How does his life change ours today? Join us for this 12 week study on the life and teaching of Jesus Christ from the first book in the New Testament. The Bible study is open to everyone, no matter where you are in your spiritual journey or stage of life. It is designed to help you grow in your relationship to God and give you practical, biblical perspectives on life, family, work and more.

Large group instruction time is followed by small groups that challenge, support and encourage one another.

Precepts – Online + In-person

Where: Conference Center or online via Zoom (will participate with in-person attendees virtually via a Zoom TV)

Topic: Revelation Part 4 – Interpreting Revelation in the Light of Biblical Prophecy. Fourteen-week final study of a four-part study on Revelation. This inductive Bible study includes individual homework, followed by class discussion and video. Class is in person and simultaneously on Zoom.

Class materials are individually obtained through Precept.org. Cost $31.50 for the Precept Upon Precept workbook. Registration begins on August 16, 2022, Registration before August 30th is required. Previous experience using Precept Inductive Bible Study Method is highly recommended. New members are welcome and are asked to attend an orientation meeting on September 6 in Conference Center.

Moms’ Video Study

Women’s Video Study

Topic: Study on Elijah: “Faith & Fire” by Priscilla Shirer

Join Priscilla Shirer for this seven-session study through the life and times of the prophet Elijah to discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine. And how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now.

About the Women’s Video Study:

We are a group of women of various ages and walks of life, long time believers and those still seeking out their faith. Our time consists of large group discussion of the previous week’s lesson, video teaching and small group discussion on current teaching. Workbook study at home helps to grasp a broader understanding of the lesson covered.

Materials needed:

Bible Gateway Bible app on your smartphone or physical Bible. There is an accompanying study workbook that will be used to provide for a personal study experience as well as in our group discussion time, plus viewer guides for the group video sessions. Childcare
September-December 2022 in the Nursery at Ward Church

Childcare is available for children from 6 months through preschool age for women attending Tuesday AM Groups for Women. The fee is $60 for the first child and $30 each for additional child for the 12-week term running January – April 2022. Children are taken care of by our experienced, loving childcare staff who share in age appropriate ways God’s love for them. Snack is provided. To ensure proper caregiver/child ratios, children must be registered in advance of attending. Walk-in childcare is NOT available.Registered children may be dropped off at the Nursery starting at 9:15 a.m. Children must be picked up no later than 11:45 a.m.
