    Palm Sunday Baptisms, April 2

Baptism is the public celebration of the new life and the work of grace that only God can accomplish in our lives and we want to celebrate what God has done in your life, with you!

    Who is Baptism Sunday for?

Participation in Baptism Sunday is for anyone ages 14 and up (and any students under the age of 14 who have completed the Next Steps class) who has made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ, but has not yet had the opportunity to receive baptism. Baptism is a significant once and a lifetime event and we want to provide opportunities for individuals at Ward Church to take this next step.

Required Baptism Class for those being baptized at Northville and Farmington Hills:

Baptism candidates are required to attend one of these classes (held at the Northville campus):

    Sunday, March 19, 9 a.m. or Thursday, March 23, 6:30 p.m.

Baptisms are part of the worship experience of Ward Church and are administered at our regular Sunday worship services 3 times per year.

If you or anyone that you know has interest in being baptized, please email carol.jacoby@ward.church for more information about Baptism Sunday. We look forward to celebrating this next step with you!

    FAQ on baptism?

Does baptism make me a Christian?

No. Baptism does not bring about the work of salvation or make an individual a Christian. Baptism is a once and a lifetime sign and seal of God’s covenant of grace.

What if I was baptized as an infant?

Those who were baptized as infants are considered baptized and do not need to be baptized again.
